This was the first time we introduced intersectionality as part of our podcast listening and I think it was eye-opening for the group thinking about how the trials and tribulations of one group was often only part of the story. Black women for example face unique combinatoric challenges being in the intersection of both race equality and gender equality. This is a great episode to increase empathy for all.
